I have seen Kites nesting in towns in Germany and although prolific on the continent until the longest re introduction for a british bird these raptors were nearly wiped out in the UK. Red Kites are now going from stregnth to stregnth and these birds are welsh speaking from Rhaeder. |

Specially protected . Historically the Golden Eagle was more widespread breeding in England,Wales and Ireland. The decline was caused largely by persecution. There are now 440 territories in Scotland. High densities are found on Mull, Skye and the Western Isles where deer and sheep carrion can be abundant. |
